I have noticed, starting a few weeks back, a significant increase of people completely dressed in black in Bangkok - men and women. Is it my tunnel vision or have others observed the same?

Where have you seen this? Bangkok is a huge city with something like 10 million people. You must be very observant to have noticed a few extra people wearing black.

Maybe there is a business that has opened near you that has black uniforms?

Funny that you mentioned this, because the other day at work I noticed a man dressed in a black polo and black pants and it struck me as unusual. I haven't noticed a trend though. Now that you mention it I probably will though. Might be the same phenomena in play when you buy a car. You may have never noticed that particular model before, but once you buy one you will notice them everywhere!

Yes, I agree. My "obsession" started the same way: I noticed a few people with completely black outfits, wondered how unusual this is and the next day I see more. More the day after.... and so on. Still: I DO notice more of them and yes, some of them are employees with a black T-shirt and black jeans. However, there are women and men clearly casually dressed....in black. So I thought I give it a check at the forum.
