My experience with Makro is that their prices (in particular for TV) seem lower than others because they are selling an older version.  For example, Samsung is up to (what?) Series 9 at the moment but Makro likely only selling Series 5-6.  Whatever the case, when it comes to TV (should this be in a different forum?) know what you want and then check out Lazada to get a heads up for pricing.  The "Home" places will occasionally have good sale price.

Anyway... What brand does Makro offer that is giving you concern?

TCL, Aconatic, Skyworth a few others remember all their names.

All cheaper than brand name Tv's most have more inputs on the back including VGA so you can hook up a computer.
The shop assistants will try to steer you to Samsung or Samsung or even Samsung
claiming the others are "no good" break down quickly have short warranty and have no service centers...however you get 7 days "shop warranty" to return faulty goods..if it lasts longer than 7 days it will most likely last for years.

Take a USB flash drive with some fast moving action and explosions
to test out the TV's performance before buying.

I did exactly that to compare the top TCL SUHD tv to a Sharp and a Panasonic.

While the picture of the TCL looked good at first sight, when having them playing next to each other, the difference was immense.

I had all 3 tvs reset to default picture settings
