The Baht itself is not strengthening, it's only USD that's weakening, there is no economic reason why THB should strengthen anyway. Tourists selling their respective home currencies against THB doesn't cause THB to strengthen. It's only when USD is sold against THB that happens. And tourists who sell USD for THB are far and few between, most of the USD that is sold for THB comes from the settlement of export bills which are denominated in USD. So when Thailand exports something overseas, a majority of the trade bills involve USD in settlement. -

If they'd really use all the capabilities of a smartphone nowadays, they wouldn't change it so often. To change your phone, set up your personal system preferences, reinstall, and set up all your apps, the credentials, and two-factor authentications for accounts, wallets, or anything is a time-consuming nightmare. Even with a backup. I avoid it as long as possible. The scam, to force you to get a new device by rejecting the use of some apps due to not installable OS or app updates anymore, is appearing more frequently. -

DeeMoney - How do I add my Thai bank account - What am I doing wrong.
Thanks, sadly Ive tried to install the Bangkok Bank Android app on my mobile phone , but it keeps saying Error RA02 . I can access my DeeMoney account on my computer , but for '' Payment Option ( my Bangkok Bank account ) its asking for a QR scan or QR Code . The transfer amount to be sent to my UK bank , is only a test amount . And I have no idea how to do that . Now I'm really confused 😩 -

High THB causes concern, impact on the tourism. Dilemma is, More Tourist Arrival, Higher THB Goes UP. While Foreign visitors are here, they change their money into THB(cash, debit/credit card). Whatever their method is, they are selling own countries' currencies to buy THB. Current situation is just the same s mass THB buying by tens of millions of crowds. That is the one of the driving forces behind stronger Thai Baht.- 1

Thai Khmer - is it alive anywhere in South Isaan?
In my village just outside Prakhonchai, Buriram province, most of the locals speak Khmer between each other. The only time I hear Thai spoken is when a local wants to borrow money from me. I tell them -in Thai - that I do not understand!😀 When my wife and I have been to Siem reap , her speaking the Khmer language has enabled her to enter attractions for the Cambodian price. -
