Non B in HCMC

Featured Replies

Possibility of some short-term work looming here in Thailand.

What's the latest on getting a single-entry Non-B visa at the Thai Embassy in HCMC? I checked the pinned thread but didn't see anything recent. I will have non-related business in HCMC at the end of this month so it's a "2 birds with 1 stone" scenario regarding choosing this Embassy.

Thanks!

I can recall reports of them issuing a single entry non-b visa if you have the required documents.

Requirements are here. http://www.thaiembassy.org/hochiminh/en/services/54611-THỊ-THỰC-LÀM-VIỆC-TẠI-THÁI-LAN-|-Non-Immigrant-Vis.html

Cheers joe, checked out that link already. There's no problems with the paper trail so hoping that my client getting them together will be the toughest part of the assignment.

Absolutely nothing wrong with an extra night in Saigon since the wide choices of good, cheap brew pubs there just got a whole lot more appealing.

I got one there just over a month ago.  Was extremely easy and the consulate staff were very helpful.

One thing to note is that despite being a Thai consulate in Vietnam they accept only US Dollars for the visa fee, so make sure you have the visa fee in USD.

Enjoy your trip.
