Documents (currently) needed for address change TM28?

Featured Replies

I need to go in and change my address on Monday/ Tuesday and then do my 90 day report.  Ive been reading various threads, but am wondering what copies I need for the address change TM 28 doc?  Thank you in advance. Appreciate this forum. So helpful!

I think you'll need to do the TM 30 as well. A copy of your rental agreement,  copy of the house book, a copy of your landlords ID and he needs to fill out and sign the TM 30.

Any idea what I'll need from my passport? Do I need all the regular copies? Photo, visa, departure card, etc?

I don't remember off hand. I would think that bringing a copy of your passport ID page, last extension, departure card would be a good idea. You shouldn't need a photo, there's no where on the forms to stick one. If your last 90 day is in your passport, they say you don't need to fill out the TM 47 again. Here is the Phuket Town Immigration volunteers website. Click on latest information. But pay no attention to the being able to report online. It still doesn't work! http://piv-phuket.com

Thanks Jim. I assumed that was the case.  I'll try that.

Do what i do now, take copies of every page in your passport, they are always changing their minds about what they want sometimes daily it seems

When they ask for a new copy just give it to them, it takes the smile of their face if they are just mucking you around on purpose, which one officer seems to like to do

Ended up taking for every person:
- passport photo page
- visa page
- departure card
- Lease agreement
- tabian baan
- landlord ID
- map to house.

I also filled out the form for every member of our household, but apparently only needed one lease agreement and one form for the household.

Just a follow up. Cheers.

I moved province about 45 days ago, went to Immigration armed with a TM30 and a TM28.
The IO dismissed the TM28, told me to bring it back on 90 report. TM30 was okay.
Did 90 report last week, took the TM28 from before.
The same IO dismissed the TM28 again but did another TM30 although I had not left the country or stayed overnight outside the province ?
I suspect she made a mistake on filing my previous TM30 but kept it too herself !!

Who knows !!

I know I didn't give them a map until I did my one year extension this year for the first time. Did they take your TM 28 as well? Happy to hear you got it taken care of.
