Do You Judge People By Their Religion?

So much tragedy is fomented by religious differences. Although not a Buddhist in faith, I follow the precept of live and let live (my interpretation).

If you harbour ill will against people of a different faith, could you please explain why (in polite terms, please)?

And if you have ideas on how to calm the jangling discord of the masses created by different god disputes, please enlighten us.

FYI, here's a breakdown of the world's religious adherents:

Christianity: 2.1 billion

Islam: 1.3 billion

Secular/Nonreligious/Agnostic/Atheist: 1.1 billion

Hinduism: 900 million

Chinese traditional religion: 394 million

Buddhism: 376 million

African Traditional & Diasporic: 100 million
