Lm Lights

Does anyone know what happened to LM Light (blue) cigarettes? (at least in Bangkok, but actually can anybody tell me if they've disappeared everywhere in Thailand?) :o

It's obviously one of the least important puzzles of my life in Thailand. Perhaps I feel that if I can make sense of these trivial details, other more important questions might lose importance (momentarily at least) :D

No more "light" brands, I think. "Light" gives the impression these won't kill you as quickly. Same as draping the cigs behind curtains so everyone pretends there are no vices. Wonder why the porn movies are not behind closed doors.

OhmyGod.

Don't tell me porn kills you too !

:o

I've actually switched to Pall Mall lights for now, so there's still other lights around. My father smokes LM Menthol and those are also still available.

Malboro lights are more expensive (60 or 65 Baht per pack instead of 46). Anyway, I started hating Malboro after spending time in other Asian countries, such as India, and getting old terrible tasting Malboro's. I also don't see why I should spend more money on them if I can't notice any difference. It's not like they're Nat Shermans. :D

It's happened in Thailand too. Wonder also has some very inconsistent quality in my experience, once I smoked one that was so bad I stopped smoking for the rest of the day (I'm a heavy smoker) :o

Someone told me the other day that there was a shortage of Malboro lights about a year ago. It lasted for a few months apparently. I don't remember since I never smoked those.

edit:

Oh and then there's the tragic ending of the Malboro man (from the ads), who died of cancer. Very dark humor.

I also switched from marlboro lights to pall mall lights a few years ago because the marlboro's realy taste bad overhere and mad me a bad cough. However it's a pain in the *ss if you order them not in your regulary shop you will have to tell them 5 times and at last point to them otherwise you will get marlboro.I even don't think it sounds the same but that aside.

However in the past weeks I had difficulty's to find them, family market don't have them for weeks and 7/11 also are manytimes out of stock.
