Probably, but it just sends the wrong signals.

It only sends the wrong signals to those who want to receive the wrong signals.

Good grief, this is a traditional ceremony called a marriage, that's all.  Reproduction doesn't come into it, for gods sake, they're 6 years old.

No it's not . Incest is a very common thing .

Are you claiming my kids will commit incest because they too went through the twins wedding ceremony?

What are the wrong signals it sends then?

It´s just weird that you can´t see them.

Marriage is a thing that 2 adults that are grown up enough to create a family och a life together do. That signal number one.

The even stronger signal here to silently give a blessing that marriage and a life together between twins or brothers and sisters are ok.

Although they didnt get married in the legal sense and they will not be spending the rest of their lives together .

Its just a tradition ceremony , not a legal marriage

Relax everybody .

It isnt a legal marriage, just a ceremony

Thai traditional customs are that when twins are born, a male and a female , the belief is that they were a couple in a previous life and they both died at the same time and they pleaded with the Gods to reincarnate them as twins in the next life , so that they could be together .

Thais perform this ceremony because their "belief" is that if the kids dont get married , the Gods will get angry and kill one of them .

Dont worry , they wont consummate the marriage and they will grow up and get married properly to other people .

I do feel that its better to read the posts in the threads, before commenting and thus people having to repeat themselves

It's a ceremony because Thais believe they share a sole or something along those lines.

Wife was sure of the word.

Yes it IS HARMLESS

But you have to pervert everything because that is the way you mind works

Wow! Gee, Thanks for the clarification. All Thai traditional marriages are the same. The Thai traditional marriage is not a legal marriage.
Still it´s used for the Thai way of looking at a marriage.

Just don´t bother, if you´re gonná come up with obvious crap.

Nonsense, the children in this good luck ceremony (it's not a marriage!) are 6 years old, they're not in a position to appreciate, never mind need marriage advice.  It's a party to them, that's all.  They're not planning a future together in any other way than as normal children.

What is really weird is that you seem to think that this traditional ceremony for twin children is condoning marriage between siblings.  You must think that some of the twins that go through the ceremony actually get married as adults and have children!  If you really think that, without evidence that it happens, then it's not me that's weird.

we were talking about signals, I guess. Not evidence. If you think that marriage between sibling dot happen here, then you are dumber than a nutshell.

However, I not going to keep on this conversation with you. Leads nowhere.

Do they have to share shoes because all the money went on the dowry ?
