webfact Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 Phuket mystery visitor could be armed and dangerous By The Nation Something mysterious has washed up on Phuket’s Nai Yang Beach, and it could be explosive. The Third Naval Region’s ordnance disposal team was scheduled to haul away the metallic, torpedo-shaped object on Wednesday. Visible only at low tide, it’s been meanwhile fenced off and marked as a hazard with a buoy. The object – five metres long and 60 centimetres in diameter – was spotted on Tuesday in the tidal sands of Sirinat National Park. It’s covered in rust and barnacles. Photos of the object circulating on the social media have drawn suggestions it’s an old military torpedo or a vessel used in mining minerals. Pakaty Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 I think Kim Jong Un had misfire. Lets hope its a fizzle. 5 meters long? Looks about half that from what I can see.

balo Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 Could be one of those cigar shaped UFOs. They are here you know.
Oziex1 Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 That thing washed up? I would guess it's been there a while and has recently been uncovered.
KarenBravo Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 That doesn't look like a torpedo. Looks more like a plane's drop-tank.

maxcorrigan Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 If it had washed up Pattaya Beach no one would have noticed, it would have looked completely normal, or "norman" as my Thai wife would say!
