He can hang out with Harold the farang.

30 years difference is my standard.

My current gf is 29 years younger, so I fudged a little.

This gal needs to do a course called

"snag a farang husband in 10 days"

This has gotta be some kind of record.

Kentucky is a brutal place for Thai girls.  It snows a lot in the winter, and there are very few Thai people or Thai food.   She will have to be tough to stick it out, and learn English fast.

as long as she gets money she can suffer snow and french fries

lollli!!!!!!

Kudos to you mate...

Met mine in a bar after day 4 of a 14 day holiday, I came back 6 weeks later, took her back to Australia where we got married 4 months to the day that I met her back in Phuket.

Moved here 2 years ago, when I retired @ 55, have an 8 year old and a 3 year old daughter to her, in all, we have been very happily married for 10 years, she is my rock, prior to her, I was married to someone 5 years my junior for 12 years, she had a big mouth, very jealous, possessive and insecure.

This girl is 21 years my junior, never breaks my balls, is quiet, has a great personality, is sexy and cooks like she is a master chef.

Her career of 7 months as a "bar girl" has never bother me, as I saw her for who she is and the necessity for her survival.

I now refer to her as my "village slut" and life without her would put me in the same category as most of these negative, burnt old men on TVF 555

That's a beautiful story.

But you never should feel the need to refer to your lovely wife and mother as a village slut.

Another totally clueless farang.

Anyone who marries a bargirl needs a check-up from the neck up.

Why?

Dunno, I agreed to marry mine after a week, was married a week later, lasted 8 years so far.

The previous one in the UK, dated for two years and was a complete disaster.

As for the reporting quality .......

Was it his previous wife that weighed 350lbs?

He certainly doesn't look that big.

I got married 14 days after we met, nearly 27 years ago when she was 30. Thirteen years age difference. These things CAN work, can't they. You just have to count to 10 sometimes. Or 100.

<snip>Do you think that the interviewing officer is flat out going to ask, "Did you ever receive money for providing sexual services?" <snip2>

They don't have to -- it's on the DS-160 form:

-- Are you coming to the United States to engage in prostitution or unlawful commercialized vice or have you been engaged in prostitution or procuring prostitutes within the past 10 years?

BTW, at least for me, the only question is whether she will get a visa to be married and  live in the US of A .

Everybody else does.

Just joking...she sounds like a wonderful girl.

Still peddling that old hat?

The sample K-1 interview questions don't ask where they met, only when. Like similar applications for other countries, they request the applicant to provide more information about their American fiance than about themselves. It would appear that the people who draft these questionnaires have a broader mind than a lot of the usual suspects here.... quelle surprise!

Do these forms you mention specifically ask if anyone ever worked in a bar? If not, the applicant doesn't have to offer that she ever did. Do you think that the interviewing officer is flat out going to ask, "Did you ever receive money for providing sexual services?"

If an applicant makes a false declaration and it is proven as such, then yes, end of story. In the meantime, some American entities already embrace the "Don't ask, don't tell" form of lying by omission. Gotta love the constitutional amendments that afford such protections for all.

You clearly don't have a clue. Which is fine. I just hope you're not offering advice to anyone. They will be sorely disappointed at the interview.

Who here hasn,t done something similar ? However, in life,s normal passage, when we realize we have made a huge mistake we do our best to correct that mistake. There is a chance though that things may work out :)

We take the pissssss out of each other every single day, healthy for any relationship, i.e. when she goes to the local market and is 5 minutes late, I will say, you been with your Thai boyfriend again you "village slut" and she will reply, Thai girlfriend bello, the 18 year old one that you so desperately want as your Mia Noi, suffice to say, we never take offence to our table tennis banter

One day i would like to see one Thai Women are engaged with a farang without come from a poor ISAAN village or bar.

Same story everytime, and when he will be in wheelchair, with generosity, she will let him go back :D

I hope they are happy now, it's principal.

Perhaps if you ever come to Thailand you may see many farang with born and bred Bangkok city girlfriends or wives.

Stop with the pathetic bar stool bullshit stereotyping.

That's the point. They flat out ask. You can lie and risk a ban, or tell the truth and be denied.

This couple has decided to tell the world up front. I doubt it will go well for them. The BKK embassy more than most have their eye out for this

There's plenty of K1 beneficiaries working in massage parlours in the US already.

Weighing 350 lbs., he split from his wife of 21 years, lost his job, his house and his cars and was “absolutely destitute,” he reveals in the clip.

and hes going for a second helping, he obviously did not learn much from his first experience.:post-4641-1156693976:

It would take one of those US Embassy interviewers about 2 minutes to break her story if she was giving a false answer on that question.

NEGATIVE old men who have HAD A LOT of experience with Thai Marriages gone wrong.

So that means that every NEGATIVE old men who have HAD A LOT of experience with Thai Marriages gone wrong, should put down those who are happy in love, give me a break.

Best medicine for a marriage break up of any kind, anywhere in the world, is to be cuddled by another woman, and if you feel like some milk at the same time, go for it.............555

Some people just can;t move on, I mentioned I was previously married, she wasn't Thai, but seldom do we here of the western marriages going wrong on TVF, human beings are we not. divorce is a world wide occurrence, happens a lot in Asian countries to western men because they wear their hearts on their sleeves and don;t protect themselves against the "female species" and the laws that are for the woman, refer to my rule book that has been posted somewhere on the forum:

Rule No 1) Don't confuse love with "your" financial worth, "its yours" and HAS to stay that way

Rule No 2) Only invest as much as your prepared to lose, i.e. never more than 10% of your worth

Rule No 3) Never have joint bank accounts

Rule No 4) Always have an exit plan

When things don;t seem that they are going the right way or you feel she is wanting more and more of you, turning up the emotional blackmail, should you be so lucky to have chosen one of those, refer to rule 1, 2, 3 & 4

I won;t say that there are plenty of fish in the sea, because you have already heard that no doubt.

Didn't you just the other day say you had a hooked escorted from a hotel cuz she didn't perform?

Believe me, they are out there.

But to meet them, you have to follow some rather arcane, secret Thai cultural rituals. Ready to try it?

First, you just have to get off the barstool...

It would be nice if your right.... but I think we have read enough story's here to know love does indeed have boundaries.

ealier this week, the story was on scamming husbands out of dowries... an increasingly common story.

and then there's the favorite... Harold and the porn star, a truly love struck pair... lol

but again... it would be nice if your right... refreshing even

LOVE is one thing, finance's are another, and the sooner MEN learn to separate the two, most men in a faltering marriage will come off best and be able to move forward, unfortunately too many men treat their wives as banks, handing everything over to them, and when the bank shuts shop, they are out in the cold.

Personally I could never understand why they would do that, as LOVE is a separate matter to finance's, well in my rule book it is.

As I mentioned at the bottom of page 6 in an earlier reply, always refer to my rule book, rules 1,2,3 & 4
