The police fact-finding committee against Pol Colonel Chairit Anurit of the Metropolitan Police, who allegedly drove former Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra to Sa Kaew province during her flight on August 23, has ruled that the officer severely breached the police code of ethical conduct for doing so.

He also committed a lesser breach of the ethics code for illegal use of a vehicle during the flight, ruled the committee.

The committee will submit the finding to a disciplinary panel for further consideration of actions against Chairit, said its head, Pol Maj-General Panurat Lakboon.

Pol Colonel Chairit Anurit was unavailable for comment as he is vacationing in his new villa in the South of France.

Ethics code:cheesy: the RTP do not understand the word, let alone have any ethics.

I'm shocked to discover that they actually have a code of ethical conduct, beyond  "Money Number One" !

Do they even have ethics in dictionary? :sorry:

He is a hero, if she was here and was convicted, I reckon all hell would have broken loose, no doubt there has to be a scapegoat so the government can look good ?

No, they used the same lab as they used for the Koh Tao investigation.

The poor Colonel.

But the Highwaypolice is doing great work since some days in BKK.

summarizing the police fact-findings:

1. He is a severe breacher of some sort of police code.

2. He is a lesser breacher of another code.

Now, what about the other fact that found him in possession of fake license plates... no mention of that. Maybe because this fact was not found by the fact finding committee, and can therefore not be considered a code breacher?

"... the officer severely breached the police code of ethical conduct for doing so. "

Didn't give out enough shares? (and I don't mean Facebook either)

"As he walks along the beach in Nice with an independent air,

You can hear the girls declare “He must be a millionaire”

You can hear them sigh and wish to die,

You can see them wink the other eye,

At the man who drove the car that smuggled Yingluck."

(apologies to Frederick Gilbert)

What is the point of this absurd pantomime , does anybody find it even the least bit believable or entertaining ?

Obviously the main thrust of their fact finding was locating the ethics that he breached.

Probably have his car keys taken from him?

THE POLICE fact-finding committee against Pol Colonel Chairit Anurit of the Metropolitan Police, who allegedly drove former Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra to Sa Kaew province during her flight on August 23, has ruled that the officer committed grave disciplinary offence.

He also committed a lesser breach of the code of conduct for illegal use of a vehicle, ruled the committee.

It will submit its finding to a disciplinary panel for further consideration of actions against Chairit, according to its head, Pol Maj-General Panurat Lakboon.

Deputy National Police Chief Pol General Srivara Ransibrahmanakul said last week that Yingluck’s DNA could not be confirmed as matching DNA traces found in the Toyota Camry that allegedly took her to Sa Kaew. The DNA traces found in the vehicle had been contaminated, he said. The police said they were unable to establish guilt based on the DNA.

These Highwaymen in Thailand have been doing a great job for years. Only now, they use road stops instead of horses!

No problem just pull off to the side of the road until they go away. They won't suspect a thing. Works like a charm.

They have no evidence other than his confession.  They can't or they have not mentioned any corroborating evidence of his confession.  Nothing proved without doubt.

 BM yellow boat

smells like a pay-off .....who would have thunk it

I see a huge fine looming.  500 baht apiece  on each charge = an extra hour's overtime on road banditry.

yes where are these results...........it was reported that tests were being undertaken......SO WHERE ARE THE RESULTS???

WHICH/WHAT law states that one CAN NOT drive a person in a vehicle over a border crossing??

The ethics breach were he picked up a big payment and didn't share.

Lol... I was looking for a more eloquent way to convey just that, but hey, you nailed it :cheesy:

im just glad the evidence against the Camry is looking less robust, despite the finger pointing
