hi I am going to go to the Big island of Hawaii, USA in mid March and need to find out how to buy the best priced ticket (cheaper the better) there and back from BKK, Thailand (will be gone 3-6 weeks not sure yet exact return date

how do I do this on line or from a local agent? The point is I want to spend as little money as possible....

I live in Koh Samui and do have a Visa bank card from a Hawaiian bank to purchase on line if need be.

I have a friend that often travels between Thailand and Hawaii... he always, ALWAYS goes via Taipei.... Eva Air, and China Airlines are the only two airlines that fly nonstop from SE Asia to Honolulu... and both have good deals... it's a quick connection in Taipei both directions. Check out their websites for specials. Fare will be double if going via Japan or Korea. Used to be possible to take Phillipine Airlines via Manila... not sure if they do it anymore.
