"Free" new beach umbrellas and chairs in Pattaya are not free at all!

...correct me of I'm wrong, but wasn't there a decidedly Tai-Master Plan to bring in barges of sand from Rayong to replenish and extend el playa? But not enough room for grifter dipping.

Then the idea got shifted to an endless stream of sand-carrying trucks with dubious drivers and even more dubious safety records (if at all) on those self-same trucks?

 

What happened to that crazy idea?

This is goofy for so many reasons.

Firstly I though it was illegal to advertise alcoholic drinks on items..

Secondly, Chang, which for most people is synonymous with beer, cannot be drunk or sold on the beach!

 

Or are we purely talking of their soda water product?

As said many times already:

- They advertise the drinks company Chang, not an alcohol drink

- Drinking beer on the beach is not forbidden (but selling it is)

Some how nothing is free in Thailand
