coxyhog
Here in the UK the BBC were complaining recently about the prevalence of stop and search of young black men in London. The fact that there is a specialist Met Police department to deal with black-on-black gun & knife crime tells me they are stopping the right people. maxman71
Bravo, Tourist Police. It is very refreshing to see a society that recognizes when a large percentage of a given specific demographic commits crimes, they are profiled, rounded up and checked out. It doesn't matter to me which demographic it is; white, black, brown, farang, local, male, female, etc. If the data reflects a given demographic commits crimes in large percentages compared to the number of them in the country, racial/demographic profiling is justified. I just wish the ultra-PC degenerate Snowflakes in the US understood this.

But in the past the police check their passports and let them off if their visas are still valid. The police have only worried about visa overstay. However its not hard to work out that these gangs are working illegally on tourist, education or teaching visas. The police should be able to pull them all in after a brief observation, and deport the lot of them for breach of visa rules. Never mind having to prove that each one is involved in drugs and pimping. How much you pay for their Ass?

Do you know any of the people involved or arrested? Perhaps they don't see themselves in terms of colour at all. Perhaps if they did, it is only because you describe them in terms of colour. Chinese call themselves yellow people do they? Perhaps you would love to be able to describe them thus, but do not because of political correctness. Why stop there? We can call some Thai people, "little brown people" openly, with no fear of offence. A white, balding sex tourist as "a pink and disgusting lowlife who exploits poor people, exchanging money in return for sexual favours" After all, these are just simple descriptions that reflect the facts, aren't they? So, to hell with PC. Let's just say what is on our minds without fear of causing offence.

connda
If this was the US, EU, or UK - the whole tune of this discourse would be vehemently different. Would it not? So, explain why it isn't here in the LOS? By the way, this is simply a rhetorical question on my part. I have no particularly strong feeling one way or the other - well, other than disliking criminal activities, con artists, and scams, whether the perpetrators are white, black, brown, or Teletubby purple. So, why no outrage that we would surely see in the Western countries?
