I tried to find some info on the net but did not get anywhere. Is it legal in Thailand to have a real looking gun

but is set up for shooting blanks?Needs to be loud ,something like a 9mm would be nice.

If it is legal to own where would i get one?

I certainly wouldn't be seen with something like that (whether it's legal or not).

The Police or a possible adversary would't know it only fired blanks

and may react with a  weapon of their own that worked.

I am not going to wave it around or anything like that,we are not in Kansas here.

I do have a legitimate use for it and hopefully some one can answer my question.

Thank you for your response anyway.

You apparently are wanting a starting pistol. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Starting_pistol

Not sure if they are available here or legal to own. You would also need the blank cartridges.

I found a website in Thai and they do have them here but again not sure if it is legal or not.A starter pistol is usually a smaller calibre like a .22.

I used to have one overseas and we use it for training dogs.
