Early season highlight for the resort is the Ocean Marina Pattaya Boat show until November 22nd. Some 6,000 additional visitors are expected to be attracted by the event that marks the 50th anniversary of ASEAN and attempts to showcase all that is best about Thailand. Head of the Hotelier's association of the Eastern Seaboard Sanpetch Suphabawornsathian said that hotel bookings for the event were at 90% in Pattaya that is expected to house most of the visitors. Most attendees were families who had booked via websites and social media, he added. The boats are HIS hobby and for sleazy, sticky Pattaya nights he prepared plenty of cash to get a leg over... that might, however, not go for a few Ivans and Abdullahs...
