I have got the Thai PR book from Immigration and Red book from Police station, after that I go to get my name in to house registration, the officer said I should get the passport authentication certificate from Embassy and get it translated and stamped at Minister of foreign affairs then they check again if its really stamped at Minister of foreign affairs or not.

So, is this correct process?

I got the PR, after the immigration checked all this and also the got the Police clearance... why I have to do this all again to get my name into house registration ??

I depends upon what the Amphoe or Khet wants when go to have your name registered in a house book and get a ID number.

You need to ask them what they require.

I think immigration was informing you of what some require.
