How long does it take for money to clear from an English Bank account to Bank Bangkok if I do a normal transfer of funds?

I've used the Halifax and it took 3 working days for the first transfer, then usually 2, after that. But I now use Transferwise, cheaper(up to a certain amount), faster and you get the XE Currency's mid market rate and no fee to receive monies from aboard from your Thai Bank. First time 2 days and next day since then.

TransferWise do appear to provide a very fast turnaround, as long as no UK/Thai holidays are in the way.

How much do you want ?

FD bank UK l can get £800 worth of baht per day from Thai bank.
