Wrong you go as fast as you like. remove your muffler and try to hit 100 kph and you will be left alone. assumption will be your a light skinned thai

Yes, currently the limit is 60 km/h inside Pattaya, except 80 km/h on Sukhumvit.

There were article a few month back about a will to put it to 40 km/h

and they already painted on the street big "40 km/h panels" on Beach Road, 3rd Road, ...

what's the speed limit on second road in the wrong direction

5 up on a bike, is it still 60 ?

no its 80 as long as you have thin wheels, but 5kph faster for each person that drops off

Maybe it makes them feel better to have done that but it's a complete waste of paint

It would be interesting to survey the "real cops" here and see what kind of a spread you will get on numbers they come up with....

Asking people outside of Thailand may help.  :cheesy:

other than that,   i don't see how you would ever get an answer.

I know many people would not like what I have to say, but if it were up to me:

Second road from Nakula all the way through Pattaya to the fly over 30km/h

Also Beach Road Pattaya and Jomtien 30km/h

And 40km/h anywhere off expressways in built up areas.

But unless enforced by cops with speed cameras it would be pointless.

At many times of the day you probably do...

My thoughts are to reduce the carnage and get traffic on to alternative routes, I have lost count of the number of times I have tried to cross Second Road and nearly meet my maker, Speeding cars and bikes, even on zebra crossings. 30km/h (20mph) is ample for Second Road and the Beach Roads, we have these speed limits outside many schools, residential estates, high streets and complicated road junctions and the work well here in the UK.
