Cheap water tank and pump?
Can get a decent Mitsubishi pump for around 3-4000bht I think. Tanks depending on size you want but 1-3000bht is possible I think if not concerned with leaving it behind. -

Options for investing Thai baht
Mainly because of potential inheritance concerns and convenience for people with Thai (or non-US person) heirs. Upon the account holder death it will be easier to deal with Thai brokers than having to deal remotely with US/foreign brokers. US brokers, working hand in hand with IRS, will systematically require an original IRS transfer certificate to release the US assets while it is assumed that Thai/non-US brokers are more flexible. Also, cash held in US brokers accounts is considered US situs asset then subject to US estate tax. https://www.schwab.com/resource/us-tax-considerations-for-non-us-investors -

Report Stranded Aussie Pensioner Pleads for Return Home
The man is an Australian. He wants to return to Australia. If he said he was a millionaire - I think it is safe to assume he is referring to Australian dollars , and not Thai Baht! Even You would be a millionaire in India, with Rupees. -

Wise multi currency account questions
If you have a Thai address in your Wise account profile, you do not currently have access to the Wise Interest or Stocks features, including the option to put money into a global stock market investment fund or a Thai stock market option within Wise. These features are only available to residents in certain countries such as the UK, Singapore, some EEA countries, Australia, Brazil, and Switzerland. Thailand is not included in this list, so you will not see these options in your Wise app or website with a Thai address. It's all tied to the address not the currencies of the accounts held at Wise. I have USD, GBP and THB but no options for interest or investing is available.
