Kwasaki
Clutch plates going in but thought I'd change the bearings while it's strip down. Having to buy a 30mm socket to do it. Costs altogether so far 3000baht. Front brake calipers overhaul rubber kit etc arrived today, top stuff from UK. Front fork seals are good to go been do pressing up and down after my last test ride over bumpy road. Kinda like CPR which I thought was kinda funny seeing as the bike is a CBR. ????????????
ktm jeff
You can buy a carb tool that turns through 90 degrees , to adjust mixture screws. Would one not work for the drain screws also. Dont forget to soak those clutch plates in oil overnight , before install.

Thanks for your help, the 29 year CBR superbike is old school so getting to most things is difficult. Mixture screws are not are problem I have made a tool for them already. The drain screws of the carbs are the problem can only get to 2 & 3 carbs, 1 & 4 are facing the outer frame so made the tool for that. And yeah thanks again cool, clutch plates in new oil soaking in power 1 castrol already. ????
papa al
Riding my Duke at Khaw Mai Kaew today , noticed the side stand seemed loose, so stopped the m/c shop out there. Guy tightened things up using some lock-thread papa carries. He wanted to charge B20. Rode back into town and the thing seemed loose again. Had my shop on Klang 8/1 take care. Gave guy 100. /////// Also, on Lifan Cross 200 had my street-wheels removed and knobbie-mounted-wheels installed. Currently running 48T rear sprocket, would like to find 52 or 54T. Local scores all 'cannot.' The center hole and bolt patterns are as: Any ideas? Edited September 2, 2020 by papa al

I've just googled 52 rear motocross sockets and many places to buy like on Lazada, eBay, they have 52 / 53 / 54 etc rear motocross sockets. Make sure you put "motocross" in your search. JTR269.52 ? If it's motocross hole spec is usually universal, the seller usually confirms if it's wrong . I doubt it will be wrong if is you can sent it back. Give information to seller you have. Popular Post papa al
Yesty 11 AM, after lazing around the hong and phone-calls <==> USA, decided to take the Lifan out for a little trail riding. Flat in back; broken stem; won't hold air; leaking fast. Rode ceeber over to shop at Klang 8/1. Mac, da man, sent a mech on a scooter with a jack-stand and some spanners to follow me back to condos. We remove wheel and he returned to shop. This wheel has two rim-locks, so a little tricky. papa enjoyed some lunch. [Can of coffee, H20 w/ lime, nice fried rice w/chicky. Cute friendly waitress. B85] Mech returned and installed wheel; good to go. Tube 18 x 3.5 B270 Service B60. .......... B330 total. ==> off to nice ride. papa love Thailand too mutt. "Bike Lane" on Mamparachan lake, are a cycle shop ! The best people for spockets are in BKK - "BIY Garage" - they are agents for JT Sprockets, who are the largest sprocket manufacturers in the world -Very helpful and knowledegeable - And speak perfect english (i think the owner may be American / English) .... Don't waste your time buying off E bay and paying daft postage and possibly import duty, when the product was very probably made in BKK by JT Sprockets ! as regards should you change rear sprocket or engine sprocket - The latter is cheaper and you dont have to break the chain / remove links..... https://www.facebook.com/BIYGarage Edited September 6, 2020 by properperson 3

Popular Post Kwasaki
Been a long year slog getting the bike to be a reliable one, still trying to get there. The bikes been treated badly I guess most of its 28 years in Thailand mainly because of ignorance of the machine. Anyways I think I'm winning I know this machine and also know there history in UK it could take a lot of punishment and neglect it's a Honda that why I like Honda's. 43,500 baht so far so still cheaper than a new one. ????????????
