The press are the most racist organizations on the planet - be they anti black, anti white or in this case desperately seeing the need to associate a dark skinned person with Britishness.

 

Meghan is not a descendant of Shakespeare or Churchill. Why they have the need to make an association where there is none beggars belief.

 

She polishes Harry's knob - that's all that matters.

As Harry is currently 5th inline to the throne (soon to be sixth) then his partners religion does not have any bearing, he is free from much of the restrictions his brother, father and forbears had to comply with as to where they marry and to whom.

 

They will have a duchy bestowed upon them by the Queen and be known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, he will always be Prince Harry and she will be known as Princess Harry Wales for certain formal matters but her title will be Duchess of Sussex if the queen follows protocol (which she probably will)

 

Is a good news item and makes a nice change from all the crap in the world at the moment, they look a good match and most people will wish them well in their future together and they will sure do good for the people of the world where they can. Harry's a top Banana!

This exactly the problem with attacks on the "press" these days. If you had actually read more then the headline you would have realized they did not make anything up. They are factually reporting that a genealogy website is claiming to have done a detailed history of Merkle's family history. 

 

What specifically is made up about that?

I am going to go out on a limb here - what if this was quid pro quo? A genealogy website gets lots of free publicity; the newspapers have a reason to lionise and elevate a young woman to appear more than mere mortal, and therefore worthy of royalty. We can all relax - she isn't just another trumped up commoner but, in fact, from better stock than the rest of us.

If you do Google search you will find this is not an isolated article, though most of the other  articles deal with Markle's afro-american ancestry. Nevertheless, the article in the OP was not "made up" news by the "press" as was claimed not would it appear to be an isolated "quid pro quo" between a genealogy website and a media source. Though there is no doubt the genealogy website was looking for publicity,  which it got (including a 6 page thread on TV ?)
