I'm canceling my student visa. I have the required letter from the school to take to immigration tomorrow. Just wondering what the process is at Immigration. Someone at the school said I can go anytime and take care of it at an "information desk" -- not sure where this is, but just wanted to see if anyone has done this recently.

Do I need to get there early in the morning and wait in line for this, or is there a different desk somewhere that handles canceled visas?

Thanks in advance

Go to the desk where they give out queue numbers and tell them what you need to do, they will direct you to the proper line. We cannot tell you details because you have not detailed where you would be doing this...many offices in Thailand with many different layouts and procedures.

Thanks. I'm going to Chiang Mai immigration at Promenada

My condolences. Consider asking an agent what it will cost to help, and get you priority queuing.
