SEOUL (Reuters) - Large joint drills by the U.S. and South Korean militaries and U.S. threats of a preemptive war against Pyongyang have made outbreak of war on the Korean peninsula 'an established fact', a spokesman for the North's foreign ministry said.

"The remaining question now is: when will the war break out?" the spokesman said late on Wednesday in a statement carried by its official KCNA news agency.

"We do not wish for a war but shall not hide from it, and should the U.S. miscalculate our patience and light the fuse for a nuclear war, we will surely make the U.S. dearly pay the consequences with our mighty nuclear force which we have consistently strengthened."

The North Korean banking on the hope that neither China not Russia, each owing to their own agendas and calculations, will allow the US to annihilate to oblivion  N. Korea with in an all out nuke war, and that somehow the N. Korean dictatorship  will survive, Maybe... or maybe not....

What does NK have that is so valuable that Russia and China keep exploiting and are

letting the USA  keep up the pressure,  to only have them as NKs trading partners.

Poverty starving troops, Nut job for a leader, undiscovered rescources, and cheap

labour force. I wonder what else those two super powers are using NK for?

Geezer

Kin is just like a Mosquito............ A malaria infected Mosquito Just about to land on the US's arm...........

I anticipate the US is observing and ready to 'slap and kill' his arse.....

We have a lot of firepower in the area now and I just feel we are waiting to see if he will talk about 'Nukes' or not...... during the wait we are planning how to take out his weapons and him and hurt the least of his civilians in the in our response to his threat......... And I think we will use conventional bombs..... Not 'Nukes' to overflo into other areas..........
