REUTERS/Francois Lenoir BRUSSELS (Reuters) - European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker said on Tuesday he approved of Austria's coalition agreement, saying he would judge the government of Christian Democrats and the far-right Freedom Party by its deeds. "As is the case with all governments, we will assess the Austrian government by its deeds," Juncker told a news conference in Brussels, after meeting with Austria's new Chancellor Sebastian Kurz. meinphuket Posted December 20, 2017 Posted December 20, 2017 As if its any of his business to approve or disapprove. As one Brit had it, Juncker has the personality of a damp dishtowel, and seems to be suffering from a bad bout of megalomania....

He was the PM of a tiny tiny country whose only claim to fame was as a base for tax evasion. Now, he thinks he can dictate to 28 member states, UK not left yet, as he pleases. Well as long as Angela says it's OK
nontabury Posted December 20, 2017 Posted December 20, 2017 So a democraticly elected government requires the stamp of approval, from an unelected Bureaucrat. Must be the E.U.
Jonmarleesco Posted December 20, 2017 Posted December 20, 2017 First I was aware that it needed Juncker's approval. Obviously warming up to preside over the U.S. of E.
