Tot Broadband Prices?

Featured Replies

I need a link to a page in english to check what TOT is offering in the domestic

broadband arena and how much deposit, if any is required.

I used to have a 512kb/s connection for 750baht a month,

but that has lapsed.

Please pm me or post a suitable link.

Thanks

PS Using Google I found nothing useful at all. :o

A great link to TOT in general, but I am blowed if I can see a page that gives any costs for Silvercyber.

Using the search the site comes up with zero pages found. :o

The ADSL button gives lots of useful technical info, but no prices.

500 baht for 256/128

750 baht for 512/256

1000 baht for 1024/512

Depending on your package you can buy the modem or router for one baht.

Right but if you buy the modem for 1 Baht you need to signup for 1 year.

I signed up recently and was told there is currently no free router promotion.

Yes, correct. It expired on December 31, 2549

Don't know the current promotion.

Thanks guys.

We have a router.

I had the 1000/512 package for 7 months.during one week I had a correct speed. After maximum speed was 200/100 so...

I changed to 256/128 and...I have the same speed :o TIT

No, you don't have ....

You never get the maximum speed of 107kBs when you use a download manager and split the file in 8 or 16 pieces. I do with my 1024/512 package during 20 hours of the day.

The web is a different story ... that seems to be the same speed with all packages.

One thing TOT fail to tell their customers is that its a shared connection. They can share a connection with as many as 30+ ports.. Asianet use to have a maximum of 5 port share. You will be very lucky to get the advertised speeds, its false advertising.

I think the right price structure is like this:

256/128 500B/Month

512/256 700B/Month

1024/256 1000B/Month

1024/512 2700B/Month

i got the 4mb line with 512kb upload.

when it was installed, it was snail speed 5 days ago... i mean real snail!!!

about 300kb download and 12kb upload on thaivisa speed test.

so i had the line ripped out and a new one put in... same problem..

then today i came home, same problem... so i ripped the internal wiring out and put a new wire directly in.

now thaivisa speed test is...

3665kb/s download

425kb/s upload.

hmmmmm maybe its because i was in an old town house????

go figure...

the price is just right.

2,500 baht installation including the billion modem (which SUCKS) currently being replaced!

and it costs 2,200 a month including tax.

nice little deal really.

What are you talking about? This is a tread about TOT ... TOT has no 4mb package. Don't confuse people ...

BTW These last figures are normal .... since Thai Visa measures from Singapore (around the same as localnet).

I think the right price structure is like this:

256/128 500B/Month

512/256 700B/Month

1024/256 1000B/Month

1024/512 2700B/Month

Wrong, 1000 baht/month.

Yep, you are right.

I actually took the prices from a TOT Broadband flyer I had lying around.

I guess things have changed since that one went to press.
