January 4, 20188 yr PM Prayut denies NCPO’s alleged attempt to delay election BANGKOK, 4 January 2018 (NNT) – The Prime Minister has denied claims that the National Council for Peace and Order has been attempting to delay the planned general election. Prime Minister Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha said on Wednesday that political parties should not be worried about whether they will be able to complete the administrative tasks and the membership database update required by the law on political parties. Gen. Prayut also confirmed that he has no wish to enter politics but has been serving in office because of the call of duty and his sense of responsibility. The PM added that he is planning to change himself this year by being more friendly and more focused in working for the country and the people of Thailand. When asked about Gen. Prem Tinsulanonda’s comment that the Prime Minister’s support might be dwindling, Gen. Prayut said that the privy councilor did not mean to say anything negative but reckoned that the government might already have called on so much help from the people that there might not be much left to offer. -- nnt 2018-01-04

Does that mean that every watch in the catalogue has been bought already so no need anymore to continue working just for yourself?
January 4, 20188 yr 'Gen. Prayut ... confirmed that he has no wish to enter politics but has been serving in office because of the call of duty and his sense of responsibility.' Right. Electorate, take note. 'The PM added that he is planning to change himself this year ...' As in undergoing a transformation? Might like to first try it on his second-in-command, see if it can improve him. '... Gen. Prayut ... reckoned that the government might already have called on so much help from the people that there might not be much left to offer.' Doubtful there was that much there in the first place. But if that's what Prem actually meant, than it's time for a major reshuffle.
January 4, 20188 yr No comment Actions speak louder than words Famous last words I dont want to be in politics
January 4, 20188 yr I wonder what his pension would be? The problem he would have is defending himself when out of office if a Shin type person took the reins.

This can be confirmed or discounted if there ever are elections. If the General really does not want to be in politics he won't throw his hat in the ring when elections (if elections) are held.
