I still haven't seen a post from anyone who has applied for/got one of these 10 year Visas.  Anyone seen any such post(s)?    If so, please provide a link.  Thanks.

Edit: in the link UJ gave that the first time I've seen some info on what will be accepted for the required Thai medical plan, to include what is covered, what is not, premium per year, etc.  Good info.  However, when looking at the four plans two of them give more details that the other two in terms of conditions "not" covered.   I thought below "not" covered condition (the part I underlined) was interesting since I expect most people who get this 10  year Visa will be up in years...seems this precondition would give the insurance company and out for many medical issues.

In fact, according to Khao Sod English, even though Lt. Gen. Natthathorn Prohsunthorn the commander of the Thai Immigration police has announced the existence of the new visa....

That being said, Lt. Gen. Natthathorn Prohsunthorn says it can be applied for at any provincial immigration office or, if you are in Bangkok, at the Chang Wattana Immigration office and that, if you are interested, to “just go ahead and submit the application”.

That is wrong info is  apparently wrong,

The actual requirements are listed in the link I posted earlier for the non-ox visa.

Or here on the Department of Consular affairs website: http://www.consular.go.th/main/th/other/7394/80938-Non-–-Immigrant-Visa--“O---X”-(Long-Stay-10-years).html

People have asked immigration about getting one and have been told it is not possible.
