We would like to search for family members that may be living in the Munich area. The only contact here in Thailand has passed. Not sure where to begin?

Don't expect anything from them, except you have some sort of legal title or the like.

Even in Germany offices won't give addresses without court rule.

Unfriendly, rude and arrogant in any way.

So better save you this frustration.

 

Contacting Thai embassy in Berlin?

Maybe the same result.

 

All I found is a Thai society ("Verein") in Munich.
