Air filteration machines

Featured Replies

Well, we'll be into the yearly burn season soon enough with the abundance of PM 2.5 particulate that isn't really a good idea to be breathing.  I was wondering if there are air filtration machines available in CM that will filter out the worst of the the particulate.
I'm looking for suggestions for brands / models that could be run in a small sized room (about 15 square meters).
Yeah, I could wear a 3M N95 mask around the house, but they are uncomfortable and not something I'd wear 24/7.  Need a different plan this year therefore considering buying an electronic air filter before the really bad air sets it.

I've got a relatively new Hitachi EP-A7000 that I've been really happy with.  Will sell for 50% of retail price.

PM me if interested.

I really do appreciate the offer but my luck with buying second hand appliances is really bad.  So as long as I can afford to do so, I tend to buy new.  But honestly, thanks for the offer!

Have been using this for last few years and previous model for the decade prior.  Available from Lazada mail order if not locally.

Did an internet search including looking on Lazada but couldn't find any stats indicating this will filter PM 2.5 particulate. (I'm half blind so I could must be missing the details).  I can find filters that do clean down to PM 2.5 for under $250 on the Internet (converted to whatever currency), but getting them shipped to Thailand is a different story.
So I should qualify - I'm looking for filters that will take out PM 2.5.
But again, thanks much for the suggestion.

This uses a HEPA filter - that means 99.97% of particles down to 0.3 micrometers are filtered.  Far in excess of 2.5 you are asking for.  The filters are contained in replaceable unit as below.
