Hi, Can anyone advise me?

I received my letter of income and the figures were fine, however I put down a friends school address down to send it back to, as last year it got lost for two weeks until I redirected it to the school address I used this year.

I now notice they say I reside at the school address. I do have other documents required for my retirement visa to show proof of where I live.

Do you think Thai immigration would deny me my visa even though it is a letter about income.

Thai Immigration do not answer phone or email.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Rob

Immigration should accept the income letter. The address on it is not all that important.

As long as you have proof of where your are living I see not reason for them to deny it. Perhaps explain that it is your mailing address if they question it.

Despite the 'wrong' address, the income letter should also include your passport number? I would reckon that would be sufficient to link the letter with you but immigration may not see it that way.

I would suggest a 'dry run' at whatever immigration you will be dealing with to get their opinion? Citing the need for a secure mailing address sounds like a credible reason for the difference, you could also say it is a (former) work address? Anyway, do not leave this check or the renewal until the last minute in case they do reject it and you have no time to secure another letter before you go beyond your sell-by date.
