I'm on the side of the thai people.

Not the infamous 200 but the other 60 million emoji5.png

Let's have a nationwide vote on that and see if it's true.

From little things, big things grow.

The beginning of the end of the last Junta to ever hold Thailand hostage to greed, corruption and nepotism was yesterday.

It was really sad to watch TV to see them marching very peacefully chased by cops, soldiers who finally block their way that they can't reach the temple where they were planning to stay. I truly hope that more people will understand how important that is for the future of this country.

It's also very sad to see foreigners on this website who fully agree with the brown mob who took over this country.

Gandhi was successful and these people don't look as stupid as two posters wanted to tell us.

This government certainly deserves a star for cleaning up the human trafficking and cleaning up some of the corruption in the police . Unfortunately nobody since 1932 has been able to clean up the military.

That is thailand greatest thorn.

That is thailand greatest thorn.

The military denied any involvement in human trafficking and blamed it all on the police and local politicians.  The police didn't like this, so came up with indisputable evidence that LtGen Manas was deeply involved, along with other military officers.  Only then did the junta take real action against the trafficking, but no long term fixes to prevent these kind of crimes from recurring.

It's also worth noting that talk of substantive reforms of the RTP ended after the RTP showed it has the goods on the military.  It's risky to turn on your partners in crime.

A shame that you can't go back to Denmark and vote a military dictarship in.  Oh thats  right, it was military coup not elected, forced on the people by the barrell of a gun.

In your world it is no problem to force others to accept what you ( if still young enough) would fight against if forced on you.

I suspect you are old enough to have been told about when Denmark was ruled by a dictatorship,  did Danes  welcome the German military? No they put up a 6 hour fight, symbolic at least.

I bet you read Fædrelandet and belong to the  Danmarks Nationalsocialistiske Arbejderparti.

You can't compare something there happen 80 years ago and this tread

But it is your opinion

You always comment personal against other posters

But maybe you like being  in Thailand because you can do whatever you want and just pay when you get caught

Normal Thais accept this army government but yes in Pattaya this so called sex city meny not like because corruption is their life style

Another foreigner who arrogantly claims to know what the Thai people want.

If normal Thais accepted the military government, the military wouldn't keep dodging elections.  The junta would call elections and run its own candidates.

How did you arrived at that conclusion? The once pro junta media, former political allies, neutral academics, polls and even military heavy weights have cautioned the declining acceptance of this junta government. We are all ears.

I not clam to know but try follow the social media and you can see the majority of normal Thais are against the red and yellow party fighting but you are boss so it is OK for you to judge other people 555

Being against red and yellow party fighting does not translate to accepting the rule of a junta, they are not the same thing.

So you try to follow social media which is monitored and censored by the military government, and think that  is a better way to determine what kind of government the Thai people want than holding an election.

Do you realize how absurd that is?

He said "monitored and censored", not 'controlled'. There was a reason for that.

Monitored and censored, and censored very harshly of minor "crimes":

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/dec/10/thai-man-arrested-facebook-like-photo-king

Don't you think this kind of repression leads to self-censorship on social media?

Not sure If Thailand is unique but the only state I know of where  the army's function is not to protect the nation against invaders . the sole duty of the Royal Thai Army is to protect the monarch. They do this with submarines, tanks and other miltary hardware

Why can t you compare the men who took your home country by gun to the men that took Thailand by gun?

.Both used fear to to control a population, both used "re education"  and  detention.

You claim I attack personally and then state I must be a criminal and corrupt.

Normal Thai accept this army government?    who is normal in your view? people like yourself? men in uniforms with expensive watches?

You suggest I live in Sin City, I live in Sisaket, I haven t been to Pattaya in 5 years, I find the place disgusting.   Do you live in Pattaya?  Jomtien? or over in the Dark Side?

Again, I find people who will impose on others what is unacceptable to themselves utterly contemptable.

There  is a thread on this forum about goods with Swastikas being sold in Pattaya.  Now I know who the intended customer is.

I don't know anyone who hates 'everything about Thailand' but I know many people who LOVE Thailand but dislike the government by the Elite for the Elite.
