It remains to be seen, overall it's probably a win for America seeing that those weening on  America's economy are now going to have to adhere to trade negotiations.

Yeah right - countries hassled by Trump's idiocracy will go to the WTO - guess who will lose. Trump withdrew from the TPP, with an estimated loss for US exports, including services, of $130 billion p.a. by 2030 - MAGA - Lol

  • Go Trump - Full speed ahead.

  • Absolutely YES and a second term, if not President Trump then VP Pence for the second term.   The economy is doing well and Supreme Court choices to date are making America great again.

  • Trump will finish the term. Sit back and enjoy the ride.

I wouldn’t be so harsh. If you were Putin, you’d see that Trump is doing an excellent job of isolating The United States.

The US has been on the edge of a precipice for a while and previous administrations understood the balancing act, but Trump is about to have the US leap off the edge with no parachute. Good luck, you will need it.

It is imperative that Trump goes very quickly.

The past administrations have permitted China to blackmail America,600 bill. trade deficit/currency manipulation .Your opinions further prove how ridiculous it is to appease this behavior . Go unchecked it will continue to strangle America's economy. How quick the morons attack America and criticize PT ,but have no solution or care to because it doesn't share the same ideology, other then ,It's imperative that Trump goes very quickly. This survey is totally unscientific. Don't act like it means anything.

Living in a redder than red state, SD, you would actually be surprised by the antipathy, if not downright dislike of Trump

Most people voted on tribal lines, so the Republican could have been a coyote and they would have voted for him. That being said most folks have a respect for the office of President and hate what they see.

I'm a liberal, but actually respect what my two GOP Senators John Thune & Mike Rounds do. I don't necessarily agree with all they do, but fundamentally they are decent guys trying to do their best for the people they represent.

Trump as many who voted for him, at least here in South Dakota, now recognize is a self serving narcissist, who is destroying the office he holds.

Will he serve out his term, probably.

Unless Mueller comes up with criminality the House & the GOP in general will swallow their own self respect and go along like sheep.

My personal feeling is that Mueller will uncover sleeze, which is no shock, but probably not criminality.

More chaos news from the chaos house.

The most bizarre lawyer is now not coming.

"trump" sees it as bad news. The reason is murky ... something about conflict of interest with his wife.

This article is about this turkey before the news that it is NOT happening --

TRUMP ADDS A DEEP-STATE CONSPIRACY THEORIST TO HIS LEGAL TEAM

The president’s legal team is almost as dysfunctional as his West Wing.

...
On Monday, Trump continued throwing caution to the wind, tapping combative former U.S. attorney Joe diGenova to join his legal team. The addition of diGenova—a longtime Clinton antagonist who recently argued on Fox News that the president is the victim of a deep-state conspiracy—suggests that Trump is looking to take a more aggressive stance against Robert Mueller. According to The Washington Post, many of Trump’s advisers were not consulted on the addition of diGenova.

Thanks to "trump" -- hey maybe he's good for something -- Christian "evangelicals" have lost any moral credibility that they ever had. Actually for me, they never had any ... but "trump" has brought their total rottenness to the surface for all to see loud and clear --

Why Evangelicals—Still!—Support Trump

If you leave out the part about him being a corrupt, immoral con man and bully, there’s lots for them to like.

...

Say what you will about the terrible, terrifying Trump years, one good thing has already come out of them: the discrediting of evangelical Christianity. For decades, believers have boasted of their superior virtue, especially in matters of sex and marriage and parenting and social propriety. They’ve blasted premarital and extramarital sex, LGBTQ people, divorce, pornography, sex work, foul language, crude behavior, and not being a Christian—as they define “Christian”—blaming these things for everything from 9/11 to Hurricane Katrina.

Actually I think it's meant to mean Trump Derangement Syndrome, but it is clearly open to interpretation.  So it's a good idea to require posters be clear and use words instead of acronyms.

Well, considering his dismal approval ratings it would be incorrect to call it Trump Derangement Syndrome.   A mental syndrome is something that statistically falls out of the normal range.   It's closer to normal to be unhappy with Trump than it is to be happy with Trump.   The other use may be more accurate, we'll have to wait for Stormy Daniels to comment on that.

I've become a Stormy Daniels fan without watching any of her videos.

IMHO the thread has turned into a few rabid posters name calling and spewing their hatred - the sooner it's closed the better.

If you don't like the thread, maybe just ignore it? You know, it's really weird, you posted recently you don't post here and then you keep posting here. Kind of like "trump"'s tweeting -- no credibility.

It sounds like you don't like the opinions of the majority of posters (who almost vomit when they think of Trump being top banana).   Is anyone forcing you to read the posts in this thread?  I doubt it.  Switch the channel if you don't like what you're seeing.

This thread is becoming symptomatic of what's wrong with political discourse today.

My Father, a Mexican immigrant, was a lifelong Republican.

We argued constantly about politics, but he never doubted my patriotism, and I never considered him a bigot.

That's the difference now, it seems that nobody can have reasoned debate without resorting to really offensive name calling.

It's sad state of affairs we find ourselves in!

There has to be a penalty for stealing a Presidential election with the help of Vladimir Putin.  And it has to be impeachment at a minimum.   I am sick of republicans stealing elections like the disasterous GWB in 2000.   We have to save our democracy from big money and duped republicans soon, or they will make all their corruption legal, and it will be too late.  We will become a corporate fascist state, that we nearly are already.

The very famous conservative lawyer that "trump" tried to get that said NO lets loose with some truth. Why would any decent lawyer want to work for that mess?

Donald Trump had quite a day today on Twitter and his supporters initially ate it up but now the fever seems to be breaking as his cult-like following finally realizes that he's not a man of his word.

When I think that I might be biased I just go back and look at the Jake  Tapper interview of Stephan Miller.  He is the only Senior Advisor left and the interview says it all!

How "trump" and of course his supporters have stimulated hatred against Jews, Muslims, and non-whites in the USA. MAHA -- Make American Hate Again. Job done.

What’s unique about this wave of anti-Semitism in terms of American history?

I think that the current brand of white nationalism is an odd mix of internet-savvy and hipness with some very ancient notions of hate. White nationalists’ depiction of Jews is such a throwback to what I learned about when I was in Sunday school. It’s exactly how the Nazis depicted Jews.

Winning! Um, which side said that again?
