More than 100 tourists were evacuated from The Park Hotel in Chang Klan Road, Muang Chiang Mai last night as a fire believed to have emanated from the kitchen caused smoke to sweep through the premises.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Scientists have unearthed in a Sahara Desert oasis in Egypt fossils of a long-necked, four-legged, school bus-sized dinosaur that lived roughly 80 million years ago, a discovery that sheds light on a mysterious time period in the history of dinosaurs in Africa.

PHUKET: A member of the Phuket Public Prosecutor’s office has today (Jan 30) confirmed to The Phuket News that British national Danny Glass has been handed an 18-month prison sentence, suspended for two years, and fined B15,000 for the death of his girlfriend following a motorbike accident on May 8 last year.
