Mark Salling, the actor best known for his role in Glee, has died at the age of 35.

His attorney confirmed the news in a statement. The cause of death has not yet been verified.

“Mark was a gentle and loving person, a person of great creativity, who was doing his best to atone for some serious mistakes and errors of judgment,” Salling’s lawyer, Michael Proctor, said. “The Salling family appreciates the support they have been receiving and asks for their privacy to be respected.”

Salling pleaded guilty on Dec. 18 to a federal charge of possessing child pornography, admitting he had downloaded 25,000 sexual images of children onto his computer from the Internet.

He was allowed to remain free as his case was heard, and was scheduled to appear in court on March 7 for sentencing.

"Just so damn young"

I wonder if poster was talking about the victims or the child predator?

He hung himself and saved society the effort.

Ouch! Didn't know this guy was a perv. I tried to remove or edit my original post on this topic unsuccessfully. Supporting child pornography requires kids to be abused, so as far as I'm concerned it's just as bad as actually performing the acts.

If there is an afterlife, and he did what he was accused of, I hope his soul is tortured enough to pay for the suffering he took part in.
