Damrongsak
Interesting how different ASEAN countries name the same or similar models. Some names don't make sense in western terms - like a road bike with an MX designation. Some are the same. Anyway, I think the worst name is the "Suzuki Smash", especially in Thailand. They could have called this 115cc bike the "Sepuku". Would Ducati name a model the "Death Trap"? Even if it is? Hey, I always liked Suzukis, and I was a mechanic at a dealership for awhile back when they burned coal. VocalNeal
You are using the wrong meaning of the word Smash and trying to link it to Thailand's road accident statistics. Smash as an adjective means: of, relating to, or constituting a great success: That composer has written many smash tunes or the Beatles tune was a huge smash. But yes many Asian bike names don't resonate with native English speakers
