The aim today was to find Tham Chani Cutting that I tried to find a few days ago. I was then stopped at a religious Center that stopped my way, by Ko Maha Mongkol Train Station. https://maps.app.goo.gl/bpM2Uyd4UmMaQXTNA I read online that you can walk from the other side starting at Wang Po Station, here. https://maps.app.goo.gl/bztHJeqHvzUDpHRLA I rode past the station until the end of the road and took some shots of the jungle growing on the mountain that the cutting was made. I rode back until I found a small track to access the railway and started walking from here. https://maps.app.goo.gl/9Ucpyjfh9MjDTw3TA It was about a 500 meter walk, uncomfortable because all the stones from the track laying were every where and if a train had come, I would have had to slide down the embankment to avoid getting hit. At 500 meters I had to stop as there was a narrow bridge over a gully. I have no sense of balance and there was nowhere to duck to if a train did come. I searched online and found that in fact there was a train due to pass going to Nam Tok Station. I sat waiting at the bridge until the train came through. A few people spotted and waved and said hello, which was nice. I took another look at walking across, but decided I would try walking from the other side another day.
