Coffee shop owner and "busty baristas" face police action over skimpy outfits

The owner of a coffee shop in Sattahip - and the two scantily clad women who have given his shop a roaring trade - are being prosecuted for computer crimes and offending public morals.

Complaints were made after the two women - Nong Ming and Nong Jene - were pictured online serving coffee in little more than aprons.

Sanook reporters went to the shop on Route 332 near the Kasemphon intersection and found it packed with mostly young men hoping to meet the busty baristas.

However, they were to be disappointed.

The women were not regular serving girls - they had just been used by the owner to promote his shop.

Owner Prasong was nowhere to be seen but he had already been to see Phlu Ta Luang police on Sunday saying that he was somewhat blind to the situation.

He didn't mean to taint public morals and was just promoting his business. He was sorry and would accept whatever was coming to him.

That will be prosecution under Thailand's Computer Crimes Act after he put the pictures of the women online, said Sanook.

While the women themselves will face charges for offending public decency.

Prasong said he would take them in to see cops shortly when he gets back from a trip up-country.

Utterly ridiculous. Shame the cops aren't as proactive when it comes to serious stuff that actually impacts lives. One would hope the judge in this case will see it for the petty and time-wasting thing that it is. Also hope the coffee shop keeps doing well.

Where is the public outcry EVERY TIME a preventable fatal auto accident happens?

I do think they have something better to do, like holding a speed camera...

Suppose the coffee shop owner would not be in this mess if he had B300m to lend the top cop.

Would that be a "C" cup or "D" cup?  Hardly a mouthful in a "B" cup, so not worth having.

Apparently there are four of them......try a little variety? Boobaccino? Nipaccino? Flat white...or takeaway?
