PM asks Thais to learn from past conflicts

I wonder what it must be like to be one of the junta, to be so completely blind to their own ignorance and hypocrisy and so confident in their inalienable right to say and do whatever they want with absolutely no regards for the right and wrong of what they do, must take years of indoctrination to get that level of self righteousness, scary as <deleted> really....

As everything they say is a complete lie with the opposite being true, i am now starting to suspect the military is profiting hugely from running drugs.

They've been running heroin, then the meth, and guns since post WW II. And don't forget illegal logging, prostitution etc etc. The military have been involved in all of this since the early '50s. THey have been Thailand's version of The Untouchables for 60 years. How else can anyone explain the unexplainable wealth of the military top brass?

Interesting reading, some of which cannot be purchased here, but one book can; Girls, Guns, Gambling and Ganja....

It would have been an interesting idea to have the PM on the Mrs Merton Show especially if she instigated a heated debate and she would wouldn't she!

Then schedule him for Paxman 10 minutes later...

I would suggest that junta PM also learned from the past of military trying to prolong their stay and meet with violent consequences. The genie is out of the bottle and people rights can’t be stuffed back and will demand universal suffrage be restored.

Lt Gen Sansern added that the current administration is committed to fighting corruption

Really? The RTP is riddled with it and without any public assurance (show and tell) of crack downs!

Just another laughable and unbelievable utterance by an elitist person. But you can tell that these folks are on the level because the crap runs out of the corners of their mouths evenly! :post-4641-1156693976:

I doubt any mention is made of history since 1932?

It's a deep secret.

Thailand is never really out of control.

(Could substitute "Deep" with "Autocracy" or "Oligarchy" - makes little difference)
