There was a recent thread on auto window tinting. For grins, I used the new and improved search function and came up with about a dozen similar threads since about 2000 and something. Just about every one of them, including the new thread, ended up devolving into a pissing contest. Mostly between those who suggest that tinting may reduce visibility at night, and those who claim they see fine and the old farts should just crawl off somewhere and die. I did get the sense that the more recent threads went off the rails in fewer posts, but that's not a scientific analysis. And I do appreciate that the search function seems to work a lot better... I have pretty much given up using the site on a smartphone. It's almost impossible to see around the ads, and even more frustrating to type when the ads creep up and block the entry area. -

What airline is the best option for domestic flights these days?
Very true and a big difference with those american airliners with those granny ages ladies still trudging at their ages and serving drinks with a grouchy face. In fact I was shocked to see ladies of such old age still flying to survive and pay the bills. I felt sorry for them to be in such a country that spends trillions and distributes it all over to generate and maintain wars, but has not yet something more civilised for it's elderly people. -

You do not need (nor would you likrly be sble to get) a Thai health insurance policy. Rather you need an internationally issued (from a Western country) expatriate policy. Not sure you can get that either, but can try. Prostate will surely be excluded. Bedt yo fiscuss with a broker dpecialuzing in expat policies. Health care costs have risen dramaticslly in Thailand in recent years so be prepared for that. -
