Applying for a retirement visa
Visa? Or extension? If extension you'll only get to the expiry date of your passport so would normally be far better to get a new passport first. -

Report Tougher Enforcement on Rocket Launches During Bun Bang Fai Festival
Picture courtesy of Bangkok Post The Thai government is clamping down on unauthorised rocket launches near airports during the annual Bun Bang Fai festival, amid concerns over public safety and aircraft risk. Deputy government spokesman Karom Polpornklang announced that those breaching regulations could face up to five years in prison, a 200,000 baht fine, or both. The Ministry of Transport has tasked the Department of Airports with raising public awareness about the dangers posed by rockets, fireworks, and sky lanterns, particularly in the Northeast, where these festivities are most celebrated throughout May and June. Modern rockets can achieve higher altitudes, exacerbating the risk to aviation safety. To mitigate these risks, individuals must secure approvals from local authorities and notify nearby airports well in advance, with a notice period spanning 7–15 working days. Applications should include precise GPS coordinates and the contact details of at least two organisers. Severe penalties await violators, especially if rocket launches result in aircraft damage or threaten flight safety. Under the Air Navigation Act, offenders could face life imprisonment, the death penalty, or fines up to 800,000 baht. This stern approach underscores the government's commitment to ensuring safety in aviation and public spaces. Adapted by ASEAN Now from Bangkok Post 2025-05-19 -

Is covid a hoax
"Severe allergic reactions following vaccination are rare..." .. and that sums it up for most vaccinations. For the vast majority of people who are vaccinated, there is no severe allergic reaction. Unfortunately, no vaccination is 100% safe - there will always be a small % of people who will have an adverse reaction. -
