The annoyance of the ++ prices
So here lies part of the issue. Is "service charge" a gratuity (TIP) and passed to the staff? I suspect NOT in Thailand. I hate the ++ but have to accept it depending on the establishment - suggest others do too. In the UK, VAT @20% is always included. Many places in UK will add a "discrentionary service charge" of typically 12.5%. This can legitimately be deducted with no issue (in my experience). I then will give the server/s a CASH Tip of greater amount if warranted. -

Foreign Pilots Temporarily Allowed to Fly Domestic Routes? The Labour Ministry is considering a temporary allowance for foreign pilots to fly domestic routes under wet lease agreements, according to Labour Minister Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn. While this arrangement is being explored for one specific airline, further requests from other airlines will be evaluated individually. Stealing a Federal Election
Quotes a Wikipedia article, which is nothing but a biased hitpiece, and then expects to be taken seriously... It has nothing to do with "how elections are conducted", it is about how a small group of people repeatedly visited the same dropboxes and deposited hundreds/thousands of ballots between them. Nothing suspicious about that at all.... Don't believe your lying eyes right? Again, you are not understanding what constitutes evidence, hardly surprising based on the claptrap you continue to spam this thread with. Yes we all get that you believe that the 2020 election was the most secure and perfect in history and that it led to your man Dementia Joe "winning". Nobody is going to change your mind, and your inane rantings are not going to change anyone's either. The thread is about whether people believe the election was 'stolen' or not, not who 'won' it.- 1

Do you owe money?
That's not the reason. I'm in the same situation - never borrowed or leased anything. I only use credit cards. My credit score is 820+. Look at your utilization rate stats, that's probably the reason (unless you have some late payments or worse in your history). -

High BP, revisited.
Two items need clarification. 1. For people age 65 and younger- The old guideline of 120/80 has been revised. BP should be lower than this. This is the top end of acceptable. 121/81 is elevated. 2. It is normal for the elderly to have a higher blood pressure. That doesn't mean it is desirable. but it is acceptable. In the USA, the revised acceptable top limit for age 65+ is 130/80. Ideally it should be lower. If someone age 65+ has elevated blood pressure aside from the heart and stroke risks, it can damage the kidneys. Aside from staying hydrated, one really should see a physician and not second guess it here or hope for a miracle. One caveat when measuring BP at home: Sometimes the arm cuff is too tight or too small. This can inflate the reading. See your primary care physician. -

Thai Baht Exchange Rate So Low How Are You Dealing With It?
I remember an exchange rate of 21 Baht to the$ in the eighties, no fluctuations back then ,as the Baht was pegged to the $, similar to what it is today in Cambodia, where the dollar has been around 4000 Riel for over 20 years.
