I dont need months to think about it But??? What if you lost all the reciepts and at the same time managed to fall into a controlled loss of memory that prohibits your mind to focus on such a small and irrelevant issue? It can happen to anybody! They have a whole country and it´s people to think of.
February 21, 20188 yr A. The guy can't read a wristwatch. Takes time to fess up without losing face. B. He has so many, and still can't find one that keeps "Thai time". C. February 22, 20188 yr More time for people to forget. Thats the solution for everything corrupt but people wont let this slip.
February 22, 20188 yr Popular Post The way this is panning out there will be an election before Prawit finally manages to account for all the watches.
February 22, 20188 yr They expect the corruption index will shine them in a better light, yet allow the 2nd in command to continue delaying the investigation. If these watches are actually someone else's. It would seem to be a simple matter of having the owners fees up and admit it. I think the world has already made their decisions about whether corruption has been reduced or if it has only been moved to other people in power. Personally, I think all politicians are corrupt in one form or another. But at least they have learned to hide it better..
February 22, 20188 yr Popular Post Memo to Prawit staff: The black leopard penis eater distraction failed. Find something else! You have two weeks!
February 22, 20188 yr Popular Post Unbelievable. Another 15 days and another ... and another until all is forgotten - they hope. .... but an elderly couple who collect some mushrooms for a meal goes to jail for years If this is not unfairness - what is?

February 22, 20188 yr Love the email heading, "News Prawit given more time to clarify on watch case". Instead of a loaned watch he was given one? Rolex? I think he already has problems with the watches he already has without another addition to this saga :-)

February 22, 20188 yr Another daily soap opera for the TV readers! Just stick him on a plane to Dubai; job done!
February 22, 20188 yr When will he admit all of them are actually purchased at Union mall for ฿200. (Knock offs). Or wait would making such an admission place him in more jeapordy for buying knock offs?
February 22, 20188 yr I'm confused. It takes such a long time to clarify. If it is so difficult for that uneducated deputy.... why can't the NACC create a story which everybody can believe. Why torture this poor man? The whole day and night he sits there without any result Help this man, Thai people and Thai govt.

But they're trying, with the usual gifted ineptness with which they're becoming legendary for, to come up with some plausible explanation the public will swallow. And of course, by not being rushed in doing so, there's no loss of face and everyone can see who the big cheese is. Untouchable - something the previous lot craved but didn't manage. Prawit has been accused of not declaring the 25 expensive watches he has been seen wearing on different occasions. According to NACC chairman Pol General Watcharaphol Prasarnrachakit, Prawit will be asked to verify the specific incident in which he was alleged to have one of the 25 luxury watches on his wrist before the agency can go ahead with this case. Corruption index A notice will be sent to Prawit in the next one or two days. After that, the embattled deputy premier will have another 15 days to respond to the agency’s request, so the case will become clearer in March at the earliest. Previously, Prawit postponed meetings with the anti-graft agency three times due to his busy work schedule. Meanwhile, the NACC is closely monitoring the announcement of 2017 Corruption Perception Index (CPI) by Transparency International in which Thailand last year received just 35 points out of a total 100. The government earlier said it aims to reduce corruption so that the country gets 50 or more points by 2021. At present, the CPI covers a total of 180 countries worldwide. The time it has taken, nobody will believe it except our Steven and not even he will, not really. However your line "Once the excuse has been declared acceptable and case closed any one poking around will be swatted with defamation suits" is spot on. I'll even throw in one or two sedition lawsuits for journalists / activists who are not quite so easily spooked...
