Well I guess Labour have to show some attempt to line up with at least part of the manifesto that they used to do so well with in the last general election; after all they have already backtracked on nearly everything else! Don't worry, there is a good chance that they will U-turn on Brexit too!

 

Brexit is not a project but a term used to describe the outcome of the referendum, that was won with a majority vote for leave. The EU, however is a project and it can be seen now that it is not working out very well. The EU is a project which is in the process of failing.

 

I have seen no evidence that any significant section of leave voters were hard right or even particularly right wing. Leave voters seem to be mainly what I would call centre right and left. Outside London, millions of Labour voters also voted out.

Only reading this forum shows me that most Brits have no idea what will happen when they actually left the EU. Isn't it somehow like going back many years?

 

IMO, Germany would have the best excuses to leave the sinking boat also called the European Union, now with countless ex- Eastblock members.

 

 And Greece should become a part of Turkey, same mentality, love for donkeys, etc...
