Sending a salami to Thailand

Featured Replies

A friend want to send me 1 salami sausage by registered mail

Will this be a problem as I think to recall that pork can not be imported?

I think you need a special license to import food. Should call it something else on the invoice.

Since it is a single salami and it is send by post there obviously will be no invoice of any kind involved.

I only worry that they will detect food item and automatically destroy them.
