I guess when monks have sadans and personal drivers, somethings must be amiss - or the people very generous at the local temple !

If they are their cars that everyone is standing/kneeling near then it is obviously not the first time they have done this. Put on the robes and all of a sudden you are a saint.

and yet to the ''every day thai they remain god like .. thais who, refuses to admit, except or even discuss the abuse of this beautiful spiritual teaching(,by many of its leaders),live in fear,.. and at that point,.. it is just a superstition..I know most of us on TVF live with spouses who are in various degrees of faith, some thais live and breath Bhudism, while some are moderates...I can say only this '' compassion needs no audience and the best deeds go unoticed''..Buddhism was never intended to be a ''grandstanding faith'...'with all the show and glitter...saddy most thais have been brainwashed to believe..''the more you give .the higher your ranking at the temple''...,yet true buddhist belief is ..''choose a path that is ok for you and your means'''...some thais sadly give everything.. my wifes family has the scares to prove it...
