MichaelSong
Hi, next time I have to renew the extension based on retirement I would like to use the combo method instead of the 800.000 bank deposit. I have a UK passport , but income (pension) from Belgium . So the proof of income document is from the Belgian Government, and in Dutch. I am almost sure the UK embassy will not accept this document (even if translated) to issue the proof –of-income document for immigration. I read the Austria embassy issues these documents for EU countries but not sure they would do in my case. My immigration office is Jomtien (excellent service). Would appreciate any help or suggestions, thanks .
elviajero
There’s no reason why your Belgium income wouldn’t be accepted, but you’d need it translated to English or Thai and the translation certified by the MFA.
pagallim
I would contact the UK consulate in BKK ([email protected]) and there is no reason that you cannot use your Belgium income. Everything can be done on-line now, and it's a simple process: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/how-to-obtain-a-pensionincome-letter-for-thai-immigration
