kbelyeu Posted March 30, 2018 Posted March 30, 2018 TV, My insurance company in the US is asking for proof that my wife is no longer covered under Thailand's Universal Health Coverage. I've told them that it only covers persons physically in Thailand but they are asking for a document which states this. So i'm hoping someone knows of a link or document that states the Universal Health Coverage only covers persons when they are physically present in Thailand. Thanks!
Maestro Posted March 30, 2018 Posted March 30, 2018 I don't know if this page on the website of Thailand's Social Security Administration (SSA) helps: https://www.ssa.gov/policy/docs/progdesc/ssptw/2014-2015/asia/thailand.html It does not say that the insurance covers neither the whole universe nor the entire planet earth. In fact, it makes no reference whatsoever to any geographical area. The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place. — George Bernard Shaw
stevenl Posted March 31, 2018 Posted March 31, 2018 Ask them to explain what Thailand's Universal Health Coverage entails please. I'm really curious.
