TV,

My insurance company in the US is asking for proof that my wife is no longer covered under Thailand's Universal Health Coverage.  I've told them that it only covers persons physically in Thailand but they are asking for a document which states this.

So i'm hoping someone knows of a link or document that states the Universal Health Coverage only covers persons when they are physically present in Thailand.

Thanks!

I don't know if this page on the website of Thailand's Social Security Administration (SSA) helps:

https://www.ssa.gov/policy/docs/progdesc/ssptw/2014-2015/asia/thailand.html

It does not say that the insurance covers neither the whole universe nor the entire planet earth. In fact, it makes no reference whatsoever to any geographical area.
