trainman34014 Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 I was in Makro yesterday and booze was being bought by the truck load by the small business owners, most of whom will be 'open all hours' to accommodate the thirsty locals in their trading area's. If this Buffoon or any other thinks that stopping a few 7-11's selling booze on particular routes is going to stop people drinking (and driving) then their heads are firmly wedged in their rectums ! 1

Thailand, compared to its neighbors, is child with severe emotional and learning disabilities. It is just painful to watch. Seems some just can't enjoy themselves without getting pissed out of their minds and acting like playground bullies, even targeting motor cycle riders in a totally unsafer way; or use it as an excuse to grope some females. The few, and it's always the few that spoil it for the vast majority of good nature revelers out for a bit of fun, are usually too dumb, arrogant and entitled to realize not everyone is a pissed up prat. Oh, and a lot of idiots behaving like that are indeed foreign tourists or expats from what I've seen. 1

Yeah, because to really enjoy yourself you have to be pissed out of your mind, grope a few women and behave generally like an obnoxious idiot. And sod anyone else. Yeah for Western manners.

CLW Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 The article has a slight undertone that the tourist who come here, spend money and contribute to the economy are the root and cause of all evil in Thailand
Expatthailover Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Should just let thais get on with their own festival. That it has got out of hand is due to outside influences 1
Stargeezr Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 If I wanted to go to some place where I would have to behave in public and not be drunk, I would go to some Arab country. Thank You Very Much... Geezer
George FmplesdaCosteedback Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Four days in front of the TV, stocked up and don't care.
