The Americans had to ask the Russians for a list of "acceptable targets" The Russians gave them the list which included the Barzeh research center scheduled for demolition latter this year. So US and UK tax payers paid $ millions to demolish a building worth nothing!!

Meanwhile Unofficially, officially today as half a billion USD worth of missiles rained down on large expanses of sand while millions in the US require homes and medical treatment, unofficially the missiles delivered a crippling air strike to 3 empty buildings that produced Syria's main supply of absolutely nothing. Officially Trump took credit for the success of the operation, which saw the missiles in a precision strike on absolutely nothing in the middle of absolutely nowhere with all non targets hit with an accuracy within 1 meter squared. Unofficially Putin has cracked ribs from a weekend of laughter - (particularly as last night Trump went back on Nikki Haley's statement to the UN that there would be further sanctions imposed by the US on Russia announced Monday) and Assad can carry on as normal. Officially  "Operation Desert Wastefulness" is hailed a resounding success for shareholders of lockheed Martin.

Labeling it "excellent" is an affront to journalism and quality reporting. If anything, one might question why not that many doubts from the same regarding the Syrian regime's and Russia's versions. The "sons and daughters" of America-a country for which I don't give a pinch of owl dung for either way-are volunteers.They go where they are directed.I have no desire to "thank them for their service" to extol the glories of military life,or to live in a world awash with their mawkish propaganda.

 

I am far more concerned that the ideology behind the mawkish propaganda will end up killing us all.
