Think about it. We are all posting unchecked on a forum owned by the nation newspaper.
Not only is it unchecked but its spewing anti junta attacks.

Although their Facebook ranking may drop lol

Boy o' boy, ain't we lucky?

Bangkok Post.

Thank you. It's a given among writers (FYI, even if you're not a writer per se) that the first time you mention something, you never abbreviate it, especially not with initials. Use plain English in the first mention and after that you can abbreviate. Why make it harder for readers if there are good points to impart? What about newbies to Thailand? They like to learn from veterans.

Anyone reading, posting and/or replying to posts in the Thai Visa forum MUST read the forum restrictions as under Thailand's laws forum participants and even TV itself can face suspension and/or be banned. If you and any newbies were to do so you would understand the hesitancy to even mention the name BP in the forum in the context of a citation or reference. Such precaution is the consequence of the government policies and TV's perhaps liberal compliance TV has a license to protect) but not the fault of any TV participant.
